[GirlieMac! Site vs. GirlieMac! Blog]

The original website was launched in 1996, started as “Tomomi’s Nerdy Web”, then renamed to”Girlie Macintosh!” when the site got popularity and finally settled as “GirlieMac!”. The purpose of the web site was to distribute my original Kaleidoscope schemes, and later I added Mac icons and more. It was fun to involve some pretty good Mac communities at that time.

I believe GirlieMac!’s peak time was in between 1997 - 2001, then after obtained its domain name, girliemac.com in 2003, GirlieMac! actually went into dormant state until last year, 2007.

My career path had shifted to mobile industry, and in 2007, Apple’s iPhone release made me decide to revive GirlieMac! with iPhone related topics. So I installed Wordpress (this blog software) on GirlieMac!.

Well, this is why this blog and GirlieMac! main site don’t really match the contents.
